you are right to check. we booked a home with an owner for Christmas and a few weeks before our departure realised that we had no directions. called and called the owner but no response. they had disappeared!!!.
we were lucky to find a company this time, loyalty vacation homes and they helped us out. The home we had was amazing, on Emerald Island, they were so helpful to us and we had a great holiday.
