I haven't been to WDW since 2001 and I forgot that they instituted that new policy with different areas of the Magic Kingdom opening and closing at various times..

Can someone fill me in on the lands and what time they open and close?

Thanks! :flower:

I was there for the last 3 months, and I don't remember different areas closing and some staying open (except for toontown, and some of the rides, like Tom Sawyers Island and the Riverboat that always closed earlier)..unless you are talking about the extra night hours for people staying on Disney property? The entire park was open until regular closing time when we have been there. Then some of the rides stayed open for the late night hours for those staying on property.

Nope.. I remember some flack quite awhile back about Toontown opening late, possibly Adventureland opening late (?) and then maybe Frontierland closing early?? It was so long ago, I can't quite remember now.. Maybe it was temporary - or during a slow time? :confused3

I don't remember that, but then toontown has little appeal for me, so I don't pay much attention to the hours. I happen to have in my hands (just came across them today) the times for when we were there in February..I'll drop them off on Monday or Tuesday...just to give you an idea about what times different shows were, etc. I also found the News of the Century from Pop Century, extra hours news (which, of course won't fit your week, but will show what is open. If you aren't home, I'll stick them between the door..unless you need a ride to the Post Office :)

Everytime we go to the park we pick up the weekly schedule it has the hours of which areas/attractions open when....

I think that practice in general has been abandoned with the exception of Toon Town. I recall it only being in place for a short period of time. You're right -- it did have other lands other than Toon Town opening later.
