I finally found Brown mascara

All I could ever find was black or black brown - wouldn't someone with brown hair favor brown mascara?

I too have been on the hunt for brown. I like it because it's a softer look than black. What's the name brand?

I have brown hair but my eyelashes are black so I use black mascara.

What brand? I know MAC has brown, but I would like a cheaper mascara.

I have brown hair, with highlights, but once I bought a brown mascara by mistake and thought it looked strange on me. I have fair skin with yellow undertones, maybe I just need that contrast on the lashes. And I think they look fuller in black. JMO, of course

The same goes for eyeliner. I agree that a pure black is too much. Looks 'goth'.

However, a nice brown-black or charcoal looks great!

I found Dark Brown at Walmart, Maybelline Full n' Soft.

For eyeliner, when I wear it, I actually wear a dark purple color. It workss great!

For some reason, brown mascara doesn't look that good on me, so I always use a brown-black color. But I do like very dark brown eyeliner over black. (I have brown hair).

I haven't used brown before... the lightest I used was brown-black (basically chocolate brown). That's for the days I want just a soft touch. Usually a black or a soft black is what I use. I have very very dk brown eyebrows and eyelashes, so anything lighter than a very dark brown looks silly on me. I have seen a few who would probably want brown since they were so fair their eyelashes were almost blonde! But I think the majority would use brown-black or black.
