I finally did it!!

I just have to share, as only my Dis family will understand…...

DH and I have been married a little over 3 years now. It's my second marriage. I have been going to Disney almost every year since I was 2 yrs old (1971). I've been a DVC member since 2003 and my boys and I go about 3 times a year.

Anyway, when DH and I started dated he uttered 3 awful words to me: "I hate Disney."

I said, "I bet you've never done Disney like I do Disney and if we are going to be together, you are going to accept the fact that we will be going there several times a year."

He's been a good sport and has gone on all of our trips. Probably about 10 in the last 3 years. But I never, ever thought I would hear what I heard tonight.

We have a week planned in June for Star Wars Weekend- 4 nights GFV and 4 nights BCV. But I just received an amazing deal for a 7 night cruise in suite on the Oasis of the Seas. Now, we LOVE this ship. We LOVE the suite. I thought he would be thrilled. His response: "I would really rather do Disney."

I finally did it! I made him love Disney ALMOST as much as I do!

That's great! It took a very (very very) long time but my DH decided he loved it only after we bought DVC nearly 5 years ago.

My SIL told our DD that he was NOT going to WDW every year when they 1st got married. They also bought in 2009 and go at least twice a year now.
