I'm not sure if this is the place to put this but I had to share the news with people who would understand!

I finally, after years of fear, rode Rock N Roller Coaster!!!!! We had to wait for about an hour to get on it and it's true if you're terrified of it don't watch the car take off initially. Me of course didn't listen to that and was standing there watching them take off which added to the fear. I can still feel my heart beating out of my chest just thinking about it!!

My last words to my husband was we better get to ride TSMM a lot today (which we didn't get to because of course it was a 2 hour wait.)

The ride was ok...I think the next time I'll enjoy it more because I won't be as afraid. The whole loop and corkscrew thing was totally new to me as I'd never ridden anything with that on it before.

So for the conquering of my fear I'm doing a happy dance.

and I'm doing this.. :worship: because my safety harness didn't let me fly away in the loop! :rotfl2:

Congratulations! I'm sure that was a huge step for you! Woo Hoo!

I know what you mean, I felt the same way the very first time I rode RNRC as well. Now you can't keep me off of it, and I am super excited to ride the Hulk at Universal next month.

Well the Hulk is not on my next to conquer list! It scares me still. I do however want to try and ride Rip Ride Rockit next. I was going to ride it after RNRC because we were going to Universal after but the wait was 2 hours and I know I would have talked myself out of it in 2 hours!

Thanks everyone!! It was definitely a huge accomplishment for me!

I was so scared to go on RnRC our last trip but DH convinced me to do it. The whole ride I screamed and I was yelling at him "I hate you" "Why did you make me do this" He was just laughing at me. When I got off though I wanted to go again. Now I love it! :rotfl:

Congratulations! That was a huge thing to do to face a fear like that!

It has given me a little more courage to try & face it on our trip - I am not great at big coasters but dont want to miss out lol!! I want to experience as much as possible! :scared:

I wish I could work up the courage to ride it. I spend every year sitting on the bench waiting for my family to get off of it. I always think I'm going to have a heart attack!

WOO HOO! Congrats to you! This is how I feel about TOT....although I have gone on it several times, and still can't conquer my fear! lol

I'm not a coaster person, but on my 30th birthday I decided I was going to ride them.

It is now my second favorite Disney Coaster behind California Screaming at DCA which I first rode a few years later.

Congrats! Next stop Space Mountain! Or maybe not.

CONGRATS!! I was able to work my way up from BTMR to Space Mountain, Everest and then RnRC. I didn't know exactly what I was misssing as now I LOVE these roller coasters!

I have to tell you about the first time I went on RnRC.. I was with my roomie and finally got on it.. I was scared to the point I was crying but I got on it.. And it was our turn and when it hit go we were still sitting there. And suddenly it just took off. OMG.. I was so scared I thought I was going to throw up.. Well by the time we got off I wanted to go again.. I'm happy that you had a great first time!!
