At least they called a manager for you.
I hope you feel better.
I fell about 6 years ago at wally world. One of the reasons I hate the place.
I was right by the registers in sight of the service desk. It had been raining and there was a huge puddle on the floor in front of the carriages that I didn't see as I was carrying a very squirmy little boy. I slipped with ds in my arms as I was trying to put him in a carriage. There I am lying on the floor with a screaming baby. The manager was standing not 25 feet from me as were a ton of other employees. Not one
walmart employee came over to see what had happened but a ton of customers did. A few came rushing over from farther away than the manager was standing. I was fine, just startled and sore and the baby was just scared. After I got up I walked over to the customer service desk to tell them they needed to clean up the puddle and the first words the woman behind the desk says to me are "let me get you the form."
"Not oh, let me get right on that," nor "oh, are you okay?" Not one employee at the store ever asked me if I was okay or apologized to me for not marking the puddle. The corporate office did though after I called them the next day. A week after the phone call I got a very nice written apology from the store manager.
