I feel so far removed....

Due to job obligations, we were unable to plan a trip to WDW this year. Boy, are we feeling it! We were there in November for 4 days, but just knowing that we won't be there at all in 2012 is throwing us for a loop! Our next trip is not until March 2013 and it feels like an eternity.

Thank God for the DIS and all of you. It really helps to hear about your trips and experiences.

I feel the same way! We usually go to WDW at least once a year and since we are headed to Aulani next June, we won't be going back to WDW until late '14 or '15. I'm already homesick!

When I go to WDW I am almost always ready to go home when the time comes. When I do get home I always think I'm good for awhile, but then it never fails that in about 3 to 4 months the itch starts and progressively drives me crazy and I want to get back ASAP.

We were at OKW the last week of September 2011. I don't have any plans currently to return to WDW. We are doing DLR in November 2012. There is something that's just not the same. We love WDW and DLR, but we probably won't return to WDW until Sept/Oct 2013.

We have become so spoiled, taking two trips a year for the last couple of years. Whenever we hear the "good life" song on TV or radio, my son and I look at each other and he eventually says "Awww.....I wish we were there...." My response is always, "me too!" I'm glad he feels that way. I know he'll remember our trips and I hope one day will want to take his own children there (using my DVC points, so I have to go too, of course!)

We are in the same boat. We were last there this past July. Next trip will be in July 2013, so 2 full years between visits. We are using our scarce vacation time to go to Europe this summer. I'm sure we will have an amazing time, but we are missing WDW.

We are on our longest stretch as well (we were there last June and aren't going until this October.) Some days I get really "home"sick. The DIS does help

Feeling the same way! LOL! We have a WDW trip planned for this November, but next year we are doing a Disney cruise, so we won't be back to WDW until 2014, and I already miss it! It's a sickness, lol!

Ditto... I feel the same way. With a daughter in college and a son in band, it's really hard to coordinate a time which works for everyone. So we haven't been able to go this year. We did do a BIG family trip for Spring Break last year so I guess that will have to keep me till I plan my next trip
