I Feel Old!

Tonight I have to go to my first parent/teacher meeting. Im not ready for this! Of course the fact that the teacher is probably 22 or 23(fresh out of college) doesnt help me feel any younger.

When my parents went to my sister's first parent-teacher conference, I was older than my sister's teacher. There are 24 years between me and my youngest sister and her teacher was fresh out of college. Now, that made ME feel old.

Not to worry. We went to our first meeting last Tuesday. I ended up feeling YOUNGER . I just wanted to hang out in the classroom and play with all of the fun stuff ............

You got that right! That's a big pet peeve of mine. My OB MUST be older than me! Mine is out of commission due to knee surgery. He recommended someone YOUNGER than me! Yikes! I do not like that!! DS has had one nun, two moms, and two grandma's as teachers. The "moms" have kids in their 20's. I'm okay with that. Our big thing when I worked at the hospital was...the doctors are getting younger looking every day! Are they really old enough to have a license and practice? LOL! When I started realizing that the docs were getting younger than me, THAT HURT!

Whenever I think I'm old, I just remind myself how I can't go to sleep the night before a WDW trip because I'm so excited Sounds like a WDW trip is in order
