Actually I feel like I'm swimming swimming swimming in internet H**L searching for good airfare. LOL 
Some of you may have read my earlier posts....that in planning this last minute free dining excusion for my family I missed out on great airfare w/ SWA out of Hartford by 1 day!!!!
(ok, it wasn't really the PCs fault by I like the image)
Anyway...I check the SWA website practically hourly hoping an internet special will pop up again for my travel dates.
I know there were many out there who had encouraging words for me and stories of how it had come through again for them....could you please tell me, if you recall, were the rates generally lower in the daytime? early evening? Do I have to be checking at 1am????
I have our whole trip planned, ADRs and all...and I have until 8/15 to cancel the pkg w/out penalty. But who wants to do that! Still, at the current fares, I'd be spending almost as much on airfare as I am for the hotel, passes & free dining for our stay!
Seems lately all of the dings have been for midweek and specials I've seen for other airports have been in the $130 range. I'm looking for $99 or $69. (I'm not greedy for the $49 I lucked into last April!)
I know 8/15 is a long way away...but this has me completely unnerved. Great trip...that won't happen if I can't secure the air. And I can just see me come 8/15...I'm not a betting person, but by then, I'll probably be like "Oh honey, they HAVE to drop them again at some point before the trip. Let's just book it and keep our fingers crossed".
Oh yeah, and blow all the "savings" of the free eats and then some if they don't come down.
