I FastPass all three mountains at Magic Kingdom.

It’ll be on New Years Day, considering the crowds I don’t expect to ride every ride.

I think sometimes on these boards we get too caught up in booking the "hard-to-get" FP primarily because we know they are hard to get and we're afraid of missing out. I think there's definitely something to be said for just booking the rides/attractions that are your must-do choices. Riding the mountains sounds like a fun way to spend New Year's Day!

I think any three out of the four mountains and 7DMT are the best options. I put 7D over splash if you want to ride that as splash seems the easiest to get as a 4th. If you want to ride Peter Pan, rope drop that (which is better than using a FP because you miss the great queue when you FP.)

On a busy day like New Years, definitely get FPs for the rides you really want to do rather than just getting the hard to get ones if they are priorities.

It’s usually what we do.
We book Splash and Big Thunder back to back and go on one of them at the tail end of the fp, so by the time we get off the ride, we can go next door and immediately use our 2nd fp.
::yes:::thumbsup2

That's what we do, we FYI skip Seven Dwarf's Mine Train (not worth doing without fastpass and tough to get fastpass if offsite) and Peter Pan (cute, but IMHO not worth wasting a fast pass on and stand by line is too long).

I have three mountain fastpasses for upcoming Magic Kingdom day.
