I am sooo proud, can you tell? LOL I love this WATP 1 mile DVD! THere is NO excuse not to do it! Its 20 minutes!!!!!!!!! It is soooo much easier to commit to than, an hour tape!!!!!!!!!! And I seem to have extra energy! We will see though ;-P I have yet to step on a scale though. It has only been my 1st week, and I think I may get discouraged if I look at numbers. Still have had nothing to drink but WATER!! Yeah for me!

30 x's around the "gerbil track"
about 1/2hr in the morn, an hr at night

also mowed for 1/2hr in the morn

Nothing "official", but I think what I did counts -- does bowling 3 games count? I'm sure sore today! LOL!

Two bouts for us: First was an hour of The Firm CardioSculpt. Then we walked about five miles, around the Dorchester waterfront in Boston.

Good for you, dzneprincess!!!! I'm so glad you are enjoying your workout!

Yesterday was my off day for weights and crunches, so I just went for a 3.5 mile power walk with DH and my sister. :) We also moved a bunch of big concrete blocks from my sister's house to my parent's house, so that was a bit of a workout too.

9 miles of canoeing down a river and walking a lot around the loop in the campground. The canoeing was especially hard because the river was low so we had to go back and forth to avoid the rapids caused by shallow rocks. We did not tip, but the canoe with my parents (ages 66 and 69) and my son (6) tipped during launching....so they spent the entire ride wet!! They also had 3 major scary times when they were stuck on rocks. So I'm sure my heart rate also went up with worrying!! :)

I just wanted to say YEAH for us!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think we can ALL do this! Have faith! I did my WATP DVD again! :-)

Keep it up WISHers!!!!!!!

Swam 3/4 mile yesterday at a really good pace. :sunny:

Rajah, yes bowling counts! I get quite a workout doing it with my DH every Tuesday. Of course he throws a lot of strikes (unlike me :( ) so I don't get to sit down much! Besides, there's a lot of walking involved, you definitely use your leg muscles, and you're picking up a fairly heavy object & throwing it with some force 60 ft down the lane. So, yes, that's exercise!

Nancy -- thanks. :) That's what I thought. I sure am sore enough today for it to have counted!! MAN am I sore! Much worse than I've been in a while. LOL! And that was just with an 8 pound ball! But I know I would have actually hurt myself if I tried playing with anything heavier. Gotta build up to that. :)

Minnie -- sounds like fun! I love canoeing -- until I get tired half-way back to camp. Then it's no fun any more. LOL!

Saturday marked three days in a row of goin' to the gym... yay me, and all of us!!!...Sunday was yard work day. I wonder why my garden doesn't look as good as WDWs...hmmm
