I dropped my Canon Powershot SD630...

with the lens extended. Now the lens is bent and will not retract. What is the repair service for Canon like? Do I have any other options for repair? I feel a little funny mailing them my camera and not knowing what the repair cost will be. Do they bill you for the repair? Are you obligated to pay once you have sent the camera?

My mother recently spilled water on her SD630 and sent it back to Canon for repair. They sent it back fairly quickly, I think the price tag was somewhere around $125 - certainly cheaper than replacing it. I think they told her what the cost would be before repairing.
