I'm staying on I-Drive and wondered how easy it is to get to DTD and Citywalk. Also, does anyone have a rough idea of taxi costs?

I'd really love to experience evening entertainment at DTD and Citywalk this time I go but wasn't sure of the ease/cost from I-Drive.

Any help/advice much appreciated.

Thanks,

Evelyn

Approximately where are you staying on I-Drive? We have stayed at the Marriott Grand Vista and Cypress Harbour, both are off from I-Drive. We find it very convenient to go to Disney (DTD) or Universal (City Walk) -- basically half way between both. We have always used a car so don't know about a taxi. You might check with your hotel and see what shuttles and whether the I-Ride would take you some of the places you want to go.

I'm staying at the BW Movieland. I think my hotel provides transport to Universal but not Disney.

a cab will be about 25+T each way to disney.

You could also consider Mears shuttle for 14 RT+T per person to any disney attraction Kids 3 and under are free. 407-423-5566

If you have more than 3 people, a cab or cab van which seats 7 might make sense.

The cheapest but longest travel time is I-Drive trolley South to stop 38. Catch LYNX 50 to MK TTC. Then bus to other Disney attractions or monorail to Epcot. Reverse for return. RT would be around 6 per person or less. Check times, trolley last run starts out of Premium Outlet Mall at 22:30, so you have to be there to catch it off of LYNX 50 at stop 38 North by 22:35.

For LYNX 50 schedules goto www.golynx.com

For Lynx, stop 38 is SEA WORLD. Trolley and LYNX stop at the same place. Stop 38 is trolley lingo.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks localdriver, you've been a great help. :D At least now I can budget for taxi's/shuttle's. I'll be using a 14 day i-ride pass for travelling around during the day but I think taxi's/shuttle's will have to be used if we stay at the parks later than the last bus leaves MK TCC.

Are there taxi's waiting outside MK TCC or would I have to book one in advance?
