Two men were robbed in their room at the Days inn on i drive this morning. They were tied up in the bathroom while the 2 men ransacked their room.

That's terrible ~ Hope they were ok and that they managed to get the people concerned.

That's awful :guilty: this seems to be happening more and more in the tourist areas in Orlando :sad2:

I stayed at that hotel when it was a Ramada and TBH i'm not at all surprised. It was a horrible grotty place which felt really unsafe (no security and loads of badly lit stairwells, plus our door was left open by a cleaner one day!) and I see even new ownership hasn't 'saved' it.

Me too, I thought it was an awful place! Very shocking story though.

i'm sorry to sound uncaring but what the heck were they doing opening tne door in the first place, there are enough notices in hotels and tourist literature saying do not open your door until you have verifiedwho is there. if in doubt ring reception/mantanance/housekeeping to see if they have sent anyone- if not do not open your door. i truly hope they are ok. but it does serve as a reminder to look in, under and around your car at night before you get in, also to look around before you let yourself into your room.

We pulled in there to turn round last year and it looked like something Spike Lee would write a script about.
