I have recently had surgery and cannot go on some of the more jarring rides with my family but I really want to enjoy the trip with them. I will also be using a scooter. Which are safe for me and are there any problems getting on/off rides or generally getting around on a scooter?

Scooters won't be on an issue in the parks
TMs can assist you with a Manuel wc for rides you need to transfer to if need be

Read the UO site on disabilities for more info on that

I've used wc in the park before with no issues

You can stay with the family and use the child swap rooms to wait in when there is a ride you can not do

If your medical condition is the back, there will be rides that should be avoided
Check with your doctor on his position what you must avoid
