I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

What a great Animal Kingdom birthday party! :thumbsup2

I love all the different areas you created. Looked like a lot of fun!

The photo op is awesome! You can always count on the "big guys" to add some humor into the mix.

You sure did a great job of all the decor and your signs were drawn so well.

The cake looked so yummy! Neat grass effect. Did I spot Lily on the cake?

Love the safari hats and the AK maps were a cute touch too.

I think my favorite part was the parade...very cool idea!

I'm glad Brooklynn and her friends had a good time.

I hope Jill got some rest today. I know how tired she must have been yesterday.
I can sympathize.
I had Aaron's 6th birthday party 5 days before I had Lexi. Everyone though I was nuts. Thankfully, I had a lot of help and it turned out to be a fun day for him and his friends.

I will be checking in while at Disney this week to see if Sophie makes her appearance. ;)

If there is anything you want while I'm there I can get it and send to you, just let me know.

I'm busy tonight getting all the last minute stuff crossed off my list.
I got Aaron's groceries today, did laundry and cleaned some.
Suitcases are ready to go.
I will work tomorrow til 4 and then I will drive to Syracuse. Early flight, so we should be at POP around 11am.

Lexi wants me to ask you if you can send some of your Disney pixie dust....she really wants to stay in the 50's and she thinks you have some magical powers to always seem to get that section. :)

(:rotfl:....she is so funny) You know, if we do get the 50's now....she will be convinced you are her Fairy Godmemom! ::yes::

I will definitely be sending lots of good vibes to Jill and Sophie!! :goodvibes

Brooklynn's AK party looks awesome!!! I love all of the details! Especially the Jeep photo-op, how fun!

So glad the party went off as planned. Sophie was trying to make a surprise appearance.:lmao:

I hope for Jill that she can give Sophie the green light now. :goodvibes

All systems are GO now! Jill got past Brooklynn starting school, orientation at work, and the party. If Sophie will be so kind as to give me tomorrow to get things laid out at school, I will be in good shape for whenever she decides to come. :thumbsup2

Another fun looking party!!

I bet the guys would have let you join them on the jeep ride. :goodvibes

Well I know it was a miserable night for Jill, but I'm glad Sophie stayed put and let Brooklynn have her party. You guys did an awesome job once again!

As taxing as it was to get the party ready with such a kink in the works, I think it did Jill good to enjoy her company and see Brooklynn having such a good time on her special day. :)

What a great party! How did you do that photo stop jeep?? Cool!!

And more importantly, in the last picture, who is going to help Jill get off the floor!?

The jeep was found at a party supply place. Doesn't it look cool in pictures?

Jill not only got off the floor, but I saw on FB that she painted her own toenails today.

Looks like alot of fun for the kids. Glad Jill and Shopie are still doing good.

All is well. Whenever Sophie wants to come now is okay, since all of our major things are over with.

Another fabulous party. I hope everyone is getting lots of rest today.

We went to bed fairly early last night. ::yes::

What a fun party!!!

We enjoyed the day. Brooklynn was happy, so that is what counted.

What a great birthday party! And it looks like it was a very nice day for it. :thumbsup2

I'll keep everyone in my thoughts as Sophie's arrival approaches. :goodvibes

It was nice. There was a 10% chance of rain, which did not happen, and it was in the low 80's. It was a little warm putting all the stuff out in the middle of the day, but just sitting around in chairs outside during the later hours of the party, it was really very nice.

I don't speak wind either (I only speak a little breeze), but I'm very late but heading back to catch up. :lmao:

Glad you have time to visit! :goodvibes

If you don't get the 50's, ask at check-in. I really bet they can find you something. And if you do, make sure Lexi still thinks it was my magic. ;)

Are you going to send us some 'live' pictures?

Jill had a dream that Sophie would come on the 23rd. We shall soon see.

I meant to bring a piece of cake home with me. I bet there will be some left when I go back for Sophie's arrival in a few days. It was just homemade box cake, but it was really good. Several people told Jill the same, so maybe it was the combination of the chocolate and the yellow - not too much chocolate. Whatever it was, it was good. The only drawback was the green teeth and tongue that came with eating it. ;)

Have a blast on your trip!!! :dance3:

Brooklynn's AK party looks awesome!!! I love all of the details! Especially the Jeep photo-op, how fun!

We just needed a pillow or something behind the jeep. When the kids got on their kneww, it covered their mouths a little. It was still kind of cute, even like that, though, since kids really aren't big enough to drive a jeep, so it kind of worked.

Thanks for the good thoughts for my girls!

What a incredible party! Looks like you had a great time. The stations and the jeep were awesome.

LOVED the party pictures! You and Jill never cease to amaze me. I hope Sophie arrives soon and both Jill and Sophie get through the delivery safely.

I have only seen Turtle Talk on the WDW specials. I want it to be a surprise when I see it.

The party looked great.

Looks like a super fun party! Glad it all worked out, even though I know poor Jill must have been completely exhausted. Hopefully she's getting some rest as I type this, and maybe Sophie will make her appearance in the next couple of days. :thumbsup2

Looks like you all had a lot of fun! Such a cute theme. You all always are so creative. Can't wait to see baby Sophie!

Well I just got home from spending 2 months in upstate New York teaching dance and being a counselor at a camp, and the 1st thing I've done besides sleeping is catching up on the DIS!!! Love reading your report!! Brooklynn's party looks like it was amazing...Happy Belated Birthday!!!

Another awesome party!! You want to throw one for a 31 yr old in February?! LOL!! I loved the jeep pictures - that was awesome!

I'm so glad Sophie cooperated!! Poor Jill is more than ready, I'm sure.

Have a great week, everyone. We have a funeral today; one of our employees, who'd been here 19 yrs, passed away from cancer. Terribly sad of course; but she's at peace now and no longer in pain. It'll be a sad day, and I know the family would appreciate the Dis prayers.

What an exciting weekend! A baby false alarm and a birthday party- whew, I hope you guys (and especially Jill) are resting up after all the excitement!

You guys did an amazing job with the party, and I'm glad Brooklyn still got to have her special day. I'm sending lots of positive baby vibes you way, so Sophie will make her arrival sooner rather than later!

Hi! Just saw a link to this TR today and had to check it out.
It's always frustrating when you go on a WDW trip and it's constantly raining. :sad2: Can disrupt even the most patient Disney fan's goals.

That AK themed birthday party looks so cool! I love all the little details added in, like the parade and the photo spot. Sounds like a very fun day for all.

What an amazing parties!! You all should quit your day jobs and become party planners! The signs and the details and the cake and activities are all so awesome! I'm glad Brooklynn was able to enjoy her special day!

I'll be keeping Jill and Sophie and the rest of your family in my thoughts and prayers :goodvibes

Lots of Pixie Dust for miss Lexi!! I hope you guys have an awesome trip!! :goodvibes

What a incredible party! Looks like you had a great time. The stations and the jeep were awesome.

We enjoyed it. The older kids really enjoyed the different animal stations. The little ones like making music and swinging.

LOVED the party pictures! You and Jill never cease to amaze me. I hope Sophie arrives soon and both Jill and Sophie get through the delivery safely.

Maybe the doctor will admit her on Wednesday. I am glad i had today to get everything organized at school. I stayed until about 6:15 getting things in order, copying things, and writing notes for the sub or subs that cover my days.

I have only seen Turtle Talk on the WDW specials. I want it to be a surprise when I see it.

The party looked great.

That's cool, then. Hope you like it when you see it in person. We've had many different levels of Crush - some really into it and hilarious, and some more subdued and sticking to the script.

I am really glad Brooklynn got to have her special day to celebrate her.

I can't wait, either! Now that the check list is checked off, it's time for her to appear!

So glad you found your way back to us. Two months of camp sounds very fun to me!

So sorry about your friend. I know that it will be a sad day when we attend Cheryl's funeral. I think about her every day and wonder what it is really like to know the approximate number of days you have left. What would I do if I knew? I have some ideas, but who knows until it is real?

What theme do you want on that February birthday? I guess you've had a few snow-themed parties?

It was busy, and now the lack of sleep is catching up with me. I am ready to go to bed soon.

We are certainly glad to have you! :cool1:

We're pretty 'go with the flow', but the constant rain did start wearing down our magical mood about the third day, I will admit. It was aggravating to deal with stroller covers and getting the girls in and out of places quickly and as covered as we could get them.

Lots of Pixie Dust for miss Lexi!! I hope you guys have an awesome trip!! :goodvibes

Maybe a party planner service can be our job when I retire. :)

I hope they ask for the 50's at the desk, and I hope something is available. ::yes::

Wow!!! Double Wow!!! What an awesome party!!!! I want one of those.

Loved the theming. You really did a great job.

As usual, both girls were just adorable.

Loved the "boys" in the picture op. Too funny.

Another awesome birthday party! Love the pics of the guys!

They were a help to us that day and the night before, so we excused their silliness. :goodvibes

In DIStown, every party for every occasion will be a blast! :cool1:

********************************************

While we are waiting around for that sassy little Sophie to arrive, how 'bout we just go back to Epcot and do our waiting?

Fisrt, does anyone want to make a purchase in the gift shop?

Apparently, I was a little one track minded that day.

Mine.

I was in charge of Bella, and Jill and John got Brooklynn.

I'm not one to eat much candy, but I think things wrapped in Goofy's Candy Company packages are fun.

Time for a pretzel break.

Brooklynn takes every grain of salt off. I love salty ones, myself!

Pretty exciting stuff going on in the background -

June2012Part1492.jpg

no ponchos or umbrellas! (Or as Trent called them when he was little - lumberries.) It had STOPPED RAINING!!! :cheer2:
There were some Brave games going on during that time, but they were closed at that moment.

June2012Part1493.jpg

As always, the sand sculptures are amazing.

June2012Part1494.jpg

Jill had seen that Marc and Anita were eating lunch at Le Cellier.
I told her to put on FB: About to check in to Le Cellier as the Blanks. Sorry, Marc and Anita. ;)

I think she put something like that up, and we headed toward Canada to see if we could spy our friends.

We really wouldn't have taken their 'ressie'. Or would we?

June2012Part1495.jpg

LOVE the party pictures! Especially the photo-op jeep. For Casen's airplane party, we made a pilot's license that all attendees had to get a picture in! It was a great way to get pics of everyone. Loved the pics of the "big kids". Looks like everyone had a great time!

Hope Jill is hanging in there!
