I don't actually know the location of my hard tickets...

So, our trip was a Christmas surprise. We leave in about four weeks. I hid the tickets really well and now I can't find them! They're linked to our magic bands. Do I need to tear the house apart to find them or will the Magic Bands work fine? I know they weren't thrown away, so if I have to, I can probably find them. I'm thinking maybe on the shelf on top of the water heater closet. Only me!

You do NOT need the tickets.
The MBs will work for everything.

Can you see them in your MDE? If so I probably wouldn't tear the whole house apart. Just ask that they be replaced when you arrive if you even feel you need the physical cards. I do not like to wear the MB so I bring along my card instead. I wear it on a lanyard, so it's actually just as convenient to me as the MB. My kids wear the bands and don't bring their cards. None of us have problems. I would still look a little bit, but I always worry that something will happen to our MDE account (victim of early glitches and still not quite over it, lol).

Look in the freezer....that's where we found an important item that was lost for several weeks, lol.

The cards are just a backup, as far as I'm concerned. I am bringing mine with me, just in case, but between the MB and the other card that comes with it, I am not worried. You should be fine!

Do you still have your receipt for the ticket purchase? If so, you can take the receipt, the Magic Bands OR the link to the ticket numbers on MDE to a Guest Relations location (including the GR CM's beehind the TouchPoints) and have them replaced. Magic Bands will "normally" work without issues. BUT, there can be problems with them (they don't always work as intended for whatever reason). Generally those problems can be taken care of at the TouchPoint entries but not always. Never hurts to have some backup data.

We just got back from a trip - we had new tickets linked onto our MDE account and upgraded them to APs. I had brought the physical tickets (and receipt) with me but never needed them. Our Magic bands worked perfectly and the upgrade was easy. So IF I were you I would not tear the house apart.
