Im so pleased with myself made £100 from junk !! Its 1st time ive ever been anywhere near a boot sale but it was loads of fun having people pay me for stuff I was going to give to charity shop or tip !! Will now be doing a proper spring clean and filling my boot again !!

No I never bought a thing I was so busy on the stall I never moved away from it !! I was shocked how busy car boots are !!

Well done, I used to love doing car boot sales when the kids were younger :)

Well done, we did one today too & made about £100. It was very cold where we were but there had to be at least 1000 stalls!

Well done :) We did a few a couple of years ago. Made quite a bit the first few times until we were left with stuff that just wouldn't sell. Ended up bringing most of it back and taking it down the tip LOL

Well done both of you:cool1: not bad for a mornings work.
I Really need to get my act together and do one, I've got so much stuff in the garage.
What sort of stuff sold well, and what didn't?

Well done :thumbsup2

Gotta get my act together and do one........been putting it off for a couple of years, it's just the thought of having to get up so early on a Sunday morning! :scared1: :rotfl2:

I had a lot of baby toys and they flew out as did the remote control things!! I had a lot of clothes in baby sizes and they too went really well i charged 50p per item for the clothes and I found they flew off my table!!
Also toy cars were populaur. Soft toys didnt do so well I bought a lot of them back and also dressing up clothes didnt go at all x Think it probably depends on your area though x
Go on force yourself to get up early you are defo going to make money;)

I have everything you describe plus all my baby stuff (baths, bedding, pottys, nappy bins etc.) thats the stuff I really want to get rid of.

I resisted the car boot scene until my BF persuaded me to do one last year. Made £300 which bought me a very nice handbag and some things for the kids.

Did one again last week with BF and made enough to pay for the MNSSHP tickets. I wouldnt go myself but we have such a laugh .

We did a car boot sale when we emptied our loft ready for the loft conversion. Couldn't believe the crap that people would pay good money for - but, having said that, a lot of it we'd obviously paid good money for to begin with :rotfl:
