When I first joined this board there were many other DISigners active. In fact I may be the only one still active from that time.
One of the great DISigners was a lady named TripleFigs. Her posting site is still active and people still download her work. (she did the first What Happens in Disney, Stays in Disney.) if anyone is interested in her work, check out the sticky Meet The DISigners and she is one of the last in the no longer DISigning post. Well one day TripleFigs posted Chrismas DISigns for all of the resorts.
I loved it and at the time I mostly stayed at Wilderness Lodge. So I asked permission to cut out the Mickey Head, clean it up and use it in a new DISign. & I made this.
So then I bought at Animal Kingdom & Boardwalk and I wanted to make one for those resorts. I could just clean up the ones TripleFig had, but I wanted to do it myself. Dom who has done all my avatars, helped me and made me some ears and did the ball for Animal Kingdom. However, he is a PSE user, not PI so couldn't give me step by step directions to PI. He would have made them for me, but it was my goal to do myself.
One day I was talking to Millie (thru cyber space) and she told me she was a PI user. I told her of my dream to make one the DISigns above. So she did a step by step tutorial for me and below are the results. After many repeats and much

, I managed to make the following.
Now I am still obsessing over the color of the frame, but I am pretty happy with everything else.
So I did it & I want to thank Triple Figs for the idea, Dom for helping me with the AK one and Millie for doing step by step directions that I was able to follow.
& at the end of the day that's what this board is all about. teaching and helping others. So when I get home from work I will be making a donation to GKTW, thanking the DISigners of the Creative DISign boards. Have a great day
Penny

Another person to learn from

I have notes written on notes to remind me how to do things. I spent 4 hours one day writing out stuff on my fonts as I couldn't remember what they look like.
However, sometimes life gets in the way. Thanks for all the tips.
