I am so excited!!!!!! I had someone with a PC sign me up for >Ding< (since I'm Mac and cannot get >Ding< software on my computer yet). They let me know that MCI had a sale to MCO this morning and I got a great >Ding< price!!!! Now I can relax and look forward to the trip.:cool1:

I gave up yesterday and bought on Delta from MCI for $232. Not happy, especially since it's a stop in Atlanta, but we leave much later than we would have on SW, so more time at WDW. Do you mind if I ask what SW went for on the DING special?

It was $192.30 pp RT non-stop from MCI to MCO.

Lucky you! I checked this morning at 8:30 and there weren't any DINGs or specials on SWA website from either STL or MCI to MCO. When I got home from work today, I checked again and did find MCI to TPA for $186.11 pp RT non-stop which I booked. I'm hoping that something else will come up from STL or MCI to MCO at that price or cheaper for our May trip. Since we'll be at WDW next week, I didn't want to take a chance of not having something booked and I really don't want to lug my DD's laptop along.

Congrats again on getting what you needed!

Thanks Donna. I think SWA had just posted the new Ding when I went over and checked at 9:30. It really surprised me. Since you get to choose between STL and MCI, you've got a good chance to still get something good for May. Enjoy your Spring Break at Mickey's house!!

I "dinged" today! Got STL to MCO today for $197.69 per person RT. It was only $11.50 per person more than going to Tampa and my car rental was $10 cheaper and we won't have the 1 1/2 hour drive or more depending on traffic and construction! Woo Hoo!!!!

Okay, I have a really dumb question. What the heck is DING? :)
It's a new program that Southwest Airlines is using to offer temporary discounts delivered to your desktop. Here's a link to their website. SWA
