I have to say I was shocked to hear Clooney said this and to add to the situation his reply when called on it :

When Smith asked the actor if he went too far with his remarks, Clooney -- who's against the gun lobby -- responded, "I don't care. Charlton Heston is the head of the National Rifle Association; he deserves whatever anyone says about him."

Oh really?

That was certainly out of line. No matter how strongly George Clooney feels about gun control, he should not make a joke about a painful, horrible disease. I can't believe the comment he made defending himself either. :mad:

Let him know how much you like this comment by exercising your right NOT to by a ticket to his next movie. Hitting these so called stars in the pocketbook is the only way of letting them know their behavior was unacceptable.

O'Reilly was right if someone made a remake about Christopher Reeves' disability like Clooney did the press would be all over it
It was in horribly bad taste and Mr. Heston is owed an apology.
I feel badly for him that he has such a horrible disease but I feel even more sorry for Clooney because he is a hateful lonely person
