I didn't get a couple of the ADR's

I really wanted. What are the chances I will be able to get them later? We really wanted dinner @ Chef Mickey's, but settled for breakfast on a different day. I couldn't get a Fantasmic Dinner Package on ANY date during our trip @ Hollywood & Vine.

When would be a good time for me to try again?

Hi there! First of all....good luck getting what you want. I have been calling for a solid month to try to get into LTT for Dec. 9th and they are completely booked. I'll keep trying until my trip. I'm really happy with my other ressies though....CRT, LeCellier, Chef Mickey's, Sci-Fi, Artist Point, and RF Cafe.

I would keep trying every day if you can. On the Fantasmic package, did you try for one of the other restaurants--Mama Melrose or Brown Derby? Truthfully, we will not set foot in H&V and always go to Mama Melrose (Brown Derby did not impress on our one visit and it is too pricey).

We love H&V, but I was willing to try Mama Melrose. Nothing!

Keep calling everday. Good Luck you never know. But in my opinion I wouldn't sweat H & V. What about Prime Time or Mama Melrose.

Le Cellier - lunch - day 2
Sci Fi Dine In - lunch - day 3
O'Hana's - late breakfast - day 4
Rose & Crown - dinner - day 5
Garden Grill - dinner - day 6
? - day 7 - wanted H&V or MM w/ FDP @ DHS
Crystal Palace - dinner - day 8
Chef Mickey's - breakfast - day 9 - I really would have liked to have this on day 1 or 2.

How bad do you want it? Some people call several times a day every day! It's hard to keep up with.

I called a few times a week and ended up with everything I wanted except Donald's Safari breakfast. Keep trying, you never know! And don't forget to post on the trade board for the month you're going. Someone might cancel!

There is a great chance that you will get what you want if you don't give up and call from time to time.

People double/triple book ADR's and cancel trips all the time. Ressies open up every day that weren't open the day, or even minutes before.

Example: I called last Saturday and snagged a dinner ressie at Coral Reef on an EMH night during free dining for 6 people (1 table) at 7:00pm. Someone had JUST cancelled it and I was able to grab it.

Never give up.

Thanks for all your encouragement! Last time we went was in '02 and we only had a couple of PS's. I guess the Dining plan has really upped the ante.

I have been able to get better times & all the ADR's I wanted just by calling & checking or putting in a request on the trade/cancel ADR boards. I even got a ressie for 4 @ Le Cellier (for dinner @ 6:25!!) just by responding to someone's post Just keep checking back. Good luck! :thumbs up2

Okay, I am not exactly a newbie.... I didn't even know there were trade/cancel ADR boards. Are they on this site? If they are, I can't find them!
