I've been thinking and thinking about it and did it yesterday. We had AKL standard view reservations for our trip in April and yesterday I called and upgraded to Savannah view I am hoping to have enough rewards on the Disney Visa card to mostly pay the difference, but feel it is worth it anyway. I think my kids will love looking at the animals. I'm not going to worry too mych about which savannah we are on, mostly because getting a room with bunk beds is my biggest objective now. But I am so excited about having the savannah view.

Congratulations....you will LOVE the view, especially in the late afternoons, animal watching is terrific. I don't think you will have a problem getting bunk beds ... twice on check in there they asked us if we would mind taking a room with bunks since we had children (ummm...lets see, would I "mind" taking a complimentary upgrade to a concierge room with bunk beds for the kids instead of a regular savannah view with 2 queens???, not a hard decision...I would have slept on the bunk if I'd had to to get that trade!!) and as it turned out the kids really liked them anyways
