Just booked my first solo trip after my recent divorce. 5 nights at Coronado 1/13-1/18 for my birthday. Golf is set and now will start the remaining plans.
Where to eat?
Where to drink?
Tour or not?

I can't wait!!!!!

Congrats!
Where to eat?-anywhere you like! As a solo I am park warrior so I tend to eat in the parks, but there are lots of great places at the resorts such as Jiko, Ohana etc...that get good reviews. Menus for restaurants can be found online, so find what appeals. Do make reservations-you are going at a slow time of year so it might be ok for a solo, but I was surprised my first solo trip to find that there were not walk reservations available even for a solo.

Where to drink-Coronado has a nice bar...I also like the Tune In Lounge at DHS, the Tequila Cave in Epcot (seriously amazing margaritas!) and the Contemporary Resort has a cool bar at Cali Grill and if you time it right-you can watch the fireworks at MK.

Enjoy your trip and have a magical birthday!

Well done...I would recommend following a few Disney Twitterers on your run up...it builds the anticipation and keeps you up to date with events.
As I'm about a week away from my trip I'm seeing photos of offerings at The Food & Wine Festival..the closing of Maelstrom ( should manage to catch that ) ,sadly the end of Backlot, which I won't and all the Halloween trimmings at MK.

Congrats! I just did my first solo trip and was shocked at how comfortable I was. Great experience!
