:cheer2:OMG, I just booked a Disneyland vacation out of nowhere, totally spur of the moment, to celebrate my sons 4th birthday. I cant believe I did it, I have never been in Disneyland and now I have less than 3 weeks to prepare. Too excited, and nervous since I am a planner.

Well be there saturday(2/20) through thursday, so 6 days, plus part of the first friday.

First question, what would be a good day to go to Legoland. We want to take one day to do this, but not sure if its best to do weekend day or week day. How are the crowds here?

Secod question: When would it be best to do the Magic Morning, maybe weekend so that I can see something the more crowded days? Or maybe the last Thursday (leaving late)? We have a birthday on Tuesday.

Third question: What would be the best character meal to do for his birthday? And do they do anything special for birthdays? I really want it to be special, my sweet boy has been so good lately.

I am so excited, thanks for letting me unload.

Congrats on the last minute trip.

As far as Legoland goes I just checked and it's closed on Tues. the 23rd and Wed. the 4th. So I would go on Thursday or Friday. They are open 10-5 on the days they are open in Feb.

Have great trip!

:bday: to your DS.

Have a great time! I did that last year---only to Disneyworld because, at the time, it was cheaper to go there even though I live on the West Coast. It was a blast.

I'll be in DL from 2/24-2/28 with my oldest celebrating her 16th birthday.

Have fun planning!!!

For character meal, I would think it is a toss up between Goofy's Kitchen and the Plaza Inn on Main Street. We have always done Goofy's Kitchen and I can tell you it is a great time, but I have seen pictures of the meals at the Plaza and it looks good enough that this time we are going to go to the Plaza.

And on the Magic Morning I might be tempted to go on Saturday for the same reasons you listed.

Most of have a great trip!! And welcome to Disboards.

For MM days, we like to go on a day when the park opens earlier. The earlier the park opens, the less people usually show up. Also, it might be a good idea to use the MM early in your trip. If you wait until the end of your trip, you might be more tired trying to wake up earlier. :goodvibes
