Dh told me a couple of weeks ago when he was being a turkey about going in November, that if I could come up with the money for the hotel that he'd "feel a lot better about it".


So I got my buns in gear, went through closets and the garage and sold off a bunch of stuff. And I already have the money for the hotel

Now I'm working on gas $$$

Good for you! I still am confused though, as to why your dh, was hesitant to follow through on your vacation plans? Anyway, the important thing is, he was essentially stating his interest in your paying for the accommodations, which you will be doing, so hopefully, he will not make you and your children wait again, before you all go on vacation.
