Thanks everyone! This is how it all went down:
I got there around 5:00pm, my appointment was at 5:00pm. My best friend Megan came with me, but we had to make an urgent stop at McDonald's because all I had that day was a waffle. I do NOT touch school food - no way.
So we get there and there was a walk-in so I didn't get in the booth until around 5:50. Another girl from school came in and she was like "Oh, what are you getting?". When I told her it was a tattoo on my foot she was like "you're brave". hah.
A little bit after that J's (friend/classmate that just died of brain cancer) mom, sister, and friend dropped by because they were in the area. That meant so so so so so much to me, like, you don't even know.
So I get into the booth, get the outline all set up, and the artist went to town. I'm in this private booth with a big window view of the street, I've got Megan holding my right hand with my phone in my left talking to my other BFF. My mom was at the door videotaping and J's mom, sister, and friend were all at the door watching and talking to me. I had someone talking to me at all times so I was distracted, hah.
Overall, it took about 10 minutes - very quick. The pain wasn't really as bad as I thought it was going to be. I'd do it all over again if I could. Now, some photos.
This was right after they got the black outline done, I shot this really quick in between the actual tattooing.
This was yesterday, the dried blood had fallen off so you can see what it really looks like. The white stuff is the lotion that I have to keep on it.
I apologize for the weird angles and crappy pics. I took those on my cell phone, and I had to hold my foot at a really weird angle. I had my friend's purse stuffed between my legs to hold my foot lol!
