I applies to CCUSA to be a summer camp gernal conserler this summer and I had the interview last saturday and when I phoned up CCUSA to ask to change my mailing address and then they said that the acceptance pack is already on its way to me!!! That means I got in!!!!!!!! I should be going to the USA on June 12th and then coming back mid/end of september!!!! I cant believe I got in. When I told my parents it was like I had just been told I was going to disney Me so Happy

I used to work at summer camps and loved my Brit friends who did this also - do you know where you will be? It is a lot of fun - just know that not all US Kids are that bratty, OK. Sometimes I worry about the impression the overseas counselors are getting from some of these kids' attitudes. Hopefully you get a great group of kids - a boys camp nearby - and a decent place to spend your down time in.

I have no idas where I am going just yet I may not no until the day I fly (everyone has to fly to NY 1st and they pay for the transportation). The only worry I have is if I get some one like Wednseday Adams (if you have seen the second adams family film when they get sent to summer camp you will know what I mean). I dont believe in stereotyping it is unfair, and anyway I would be more worried about the impression I give them.

By gernal conserler do you mean general counselor? If so, that sounds great. I was a camp counselor once when there were two kids from the UK who were counselors as well. It was a lot of fun!
