We just got home last night from 8 Wonderful Disney Days. We had a great time inspite of the weather. It was cold, windy and rainy except for 2 1/2 days but we survived.

The I did it again part - on Sunday night MK had extra magic hours until 3 am. About 1:30 I was cold and done so I told everyone that they were welcome to continue on just as long as they wanted, I would sit near the Castle and watch it change colors. As soon as they took off to ride Thunder Mountain I took off to get a Dole Whip. I sat there and enjoyed every bite while the castle morphed from color to color and no one is the wiser. I did not have to share a single bite!

Good for you. I would love to do something like that. I have 2 small kids so I never get a treat to myself. Just once I would love an entire Mickey Ice Cream to myself.

We are going for the first time in December next year. I was not expecting it to be cold, windy, and rainy. Was the weather miserable?

All the CMs that we talked with said that it is usually cool but not nearly as cold as it was. We did have a couple of beautiful days though. I would not hesitate to go again at that time of the year. Just be prepared for any evenuality and go with the flow. Have a great trip!

It's usually quite a bit cooler in December. It was rainy on either side of our December trip in '08 (3-10). We took and used jackets, but we also spent some time swimming.

I hear this year was colder than usual, though.
