Ok....
After all of my research.....couldn't decide between AKL or possibly BWV.
I added on at WLV
I called my guide and just asked what they have in the bank for april use
year for WLV....She had 196pts available with my use year

So I decided having all of points together will probably be easier....
till the next add on anyway

It took all my strength to say gimme 50....I wanted them all
07 use year....so I get those points too

Guide was nice enough to do a 3 way call to member services to "hold" a
ressie for me with my points that I just purchased....

They should be there today....
QUESTION....I told MS that I was going to use my 07pts for my ressie
which will be 4-17 to 4-24....wouldn't that fall under 08 pts.?.
Are my 07pts banked already?....so I can use them for my april 08 ressie....
Nobody said I have to use my 07 pts by March.

I keep booking last minute trips......WL not available....

It is still awesome though......I get to go to WDW and try new
hotels....

Trying hard to to add on again myself in 07 (mind says yes...bank books says maybe not yet ). Just finsihed our last add on in Sept (BVC) and I am trying to hold off until next year for another small add on.

2) Add on at OKW (now 2057 exp date, large rooms, great gv and cheaper points, plus I love the resort)?
3) Wait on that resort that Dis is in denial over????
4) Or....wait for a few years and do a bigger add on in Hawaii???

1) Yes, of course, by all means, add on at SSR. The deal is really good.
2) Yes, of course, by all means, also add on at OKW for the GV.
3) Yes, of course, when the potential-monorail-resort-to-be-named-later goes up for sale, you should add points there.
4) Well, naturally, when Hawaii begins sales you'll need to add on there too!

It requires more self-control than smiling at a wolverine to WAIT for an add on. Can't be done. Sorry

My problem is I want to add-on but my DH keeps saying "no". He's not into Disney like I am. We will be staying on pts for the first time this August at our home resort and I'm hoping I can change his mind during our stay. I did tell him that when the DVC on the monorail begins sales I'm doing an add-on and he won't have a say in it, just love being close to the MK.

That is soooo funny! I agree with you, I don't know that I can wait for option 3 or 4! Yikes!!! However, I do think that potential-monorail-resort-to-be-named-later resort would be a GREAT add on! We've never stayed at the Contemporary, but it looks like it's a really great location. I like your idea, though, buy a little at all! I just don't know if I can afford it. However, there is a thread going right now asking if someone gave you $25K and said you had to spend it at DVC, where would you buy and why? Well, my options are all lined up just waiting for that $25K donation!!!

Get the kids situated quietly with a new toy/gadget/coloring device......

Give DH his favorite cocktail....
also give DH something to browse through while you get ready to go for dinner.....

Now put TV on the DVC and let them do the rest

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't think this will work for my DH, I'm going to wait and hope for the monorail DVC, I've been saving my money and hopefully there'll be enough when sales begin. He always says I can do what I want with my money. We'll have to just wait and see.
