I designed a t-shirt for the Princess...

...for myself and an old friend (and her girlfriends) of my fiance, and I'm placing the order for us next week. It looks like this:

and can be found here for a closer look and more info about the tshirt and sizing.

I figured I'd open it up to anyone else before I order them. The reason I made my own shirt was because the Princess in Training shirts Disney sells are really cute, but the cut of the shirt doesn't look like it would fit me very well. I'm afraid they would be too short (I've got a long torso), and this brand shirt looks like it might fit me better. I tried to make the design as close as possible to the actual logo!

I also made a shirt in pink, and I'm torn between wanting the white or the pink, myself! Since the other girls already want the white, that will be the only order I place unless others want pink (or purple?).

So far, for the 8 shirts I am definitely ordering, the white version comes to $26.45 a piece. Obviously, with more orders, the price per shirt gets cheaper, so I won't know a final price until I get a final count. So if anyone is seriously interested, please let me know by replying. I was planning on placing the order Monday so I can get them by the end of the month.

They're really cute, but Disney isn't going to let you merchandise anything with their official logo on it. The shirt company can get in trouble for copyright infringement just by printing it.

Good idea, but you really can't do it the way it's designed now. You definitely have to scrap any reference to a Disney logo.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I did email the print company and he said I do need to take out the word Disney: "Disney is extremely strict when it comes to using their name or any of their characters/logos. We have a content department that reviews all of the orders and we are not allowed to print Disney's name." So I will definitely take that out.
I also emailed him my shirt design and the logo to ask if it would have any copyright issues for similarity and his reply was: "The design you made will be fine, you won't run into any issues with infringement there."
So basically I will need to just remove the word Disney from the shirt. For some reason I hadn't thought of that before, so thanks!

edit: I've actually completely changed it around, disregard this thread now, it's irrelevant!

even by removing disney, you are still committing copyright infringement on the race's logo. really, if you want to design your own shirt, that's fine. but, you need to make sure it looks NOTHING like disney's logo for the race.
