I Couldn't get Morrissey tickets

I know he's not everybody's cup of tea but I love Morrissey. He announced a tour and tickets for the 4 shows he's doing at London Palladium went on sale this morning at 9am - whilst I was doing the school and pre school run. Consequently, when I eventually managed to get through they had all sold out. I've seen him a few times before (and met him once) so I shouldn't be too disappointed - but I am. I've looked on E-Bay where they have quite a few for sale - surprise surprise! but they're going for anything up to £300 a pair. Now I'm weighing up whether I like him that much!

Oh I'm sorry that you couldn't get some tickets, is he likely to announce any other dates - I hope he will so you get another chance. £300 a pair seems very expensive, but I guess it depends on how much you like him. BTW, I can still picture him on Top of the Pops with a bush hanging out the back of his trousers

Seriousley though joanne i know 300 quid is a lot but if you have never seen him live before and your a big fan i would say its definatley worth it - He is superb live

I've seen him live 4 times before so I know what I'll be missing if I don't manage to go this time. Plus the Palladium only holds 2,300 so it will be great to see him in a small venue. There's quite a few auctions that finish on EBay tomorrow morning between 9.30 and 10.30 so I'll see if I get lucky. DH has said "Bid but don't go mad". Are you seeing him on this tour?

Joanne I have never seen him but would love to. It is so frustrating when people buy tickets to then sell on Ebay for a massive profit.

My favourite lyrics in the whole world are "still I'd leap in front of a flying bullet for you". "What Difference does it make" the best song ever. (close second is Hand in Glove together with Sandie Shaw) Always something there to remind me.

I am sorry but have been home all afternoon and been drinking early for Mark's 36th Birthday today.
