I Could Really Use Your Help

Hey everyone.

My physics teacher told us about a photo contest that we're allowed to enter. If any photo makes his personal top 15 list, we're elligible for extra credit. So, I decided to enter.

If you go to the rules page, http://www.aapt.org/Contests/photoentry.cfm,
it says that photos can be cropped and minimally edited.

Here's where I need your help.
These are my original photos that I'm considering. They're all from Wishes!
Ignore the text I added, I just wanted to kind of protect these pictures.
Please vote or if you have some advice, it'd be appreciated!

I like the 4th pic the best, but honestly think it would look better if the tree bit at the bottom was edited out somehow.

What kind of camera are you using? If you wouldn't mind me saying (I'm not trying to be mean-I promise. I just noticed this because my mom seriously talks photography ALL THE TIME), the pics look a little grainy to me. I'm not sure if you can fix that with photoshop or not, but I know that for next time-you can fix it by messing with the settings on your camera. I'm not 100% sure what they're called exactly tho, and don't want to give you any wrong info, so if you wanna know just let me know and I'll go ask my mom.

She uses a canon 5d mark 2. Here's a link to some of her pics, if you want to see them for ideas or something for later (maybe even when you practice! ^__^ ): Click!

i do agree. it looks a tad bit noisy.
and i do agree with the croping of the tree.
just a little critasism. so you can learn. over all there decent shots. firework pictures are NOT easy without a tri-pod.
