I checked into Vistana Resort last night...

We too adore Vistana and when it's in the budget will be looking to buy--DH and I are both going to be starting up new businesses in the next several months.

This last trip--got back yesterday--we stayed at Cypress Point. NOw that is a nice resort and we enjoyed it, but it just isn't the same. We drove past Vistana at one point and their sign was saying rooms available. I said to DH, "WEll. do you want to stay an extra night?" So, we did! Just hung out at the pools and had a great time. WE were in Cascades this time and I must say, I like the floor plan over in fountains a lot better. Seems roomier to me. Location couldn't be better though--we were on the main drive, diagonal across from the pool.

One of the things I love so much about this resort is that it is sooo quiet! Even when it is crowded like it was this last weekend. You close the door and you can't hear anything. Can't tell you how often my kids were disturbed as they were trying to go to sleep at CP and their room didn't even have a window. At Vistana, you close the door and away goes the noise. There are a million other things I love too, but that just really stood out for me this trip.

We have stayed at several time shares in the area and this time decided that it's a waste of time to check out other resorts. We just want Vistana from now on.

I agree Julie, the rooms are just about noise free! I never heard my neighbors and hope they never heard me!

We were right near the pool and we heard no noise at all unless we opened the patio door. As for the patio, there was nothing like having having breakfast and dinner out there! It was screened, no bugs and had a ceiling fan, less HEAT! The view was beautiful and the feeling was so calm... I miss it!

Daisy, I took almost 200 pictures during my trip and my son noticed I took WAY more of Vistana than of Portofino. I told him there was WAY more to photograph!

Daisy, I have SOOOO many pictures on my new digital camera and I'm just waiting for Dan Murphy to hand hold me through posting them!

Robin, everytime I read your posts I keep thinking about extending my already extended trip in Aug. and adding a couple of days at a timeshare! I know my kids wouldn't be dissapointd with that decision.
