I NEED PIXIE DUST!!!!!

Sorry, but I have tried to focus on saving for other things, but I really am just heartbroken at the thought of not getting any pixie dust until 2010. I made the decision last night.

We are going to WDW in December of 2005.

Does anyone else just feel like they are going to have burst if they don't get a WDW vacation every year or two? I hope I am not the only one. Maggie

You are not alone. I was just there in December, but it feels like it has been years already and we are not going back until October 2005. It feels so far away. I am trying to convince my husband that we need to squeeze in at least a long weekend sometime in the next six months, but I don't think it's going to happen.

We will NOT be away from WDW for more than 2 years at a time. :) That's my plan anyway... Really, I'd like to go every year though, but it depends on lots of things...money being the main one!

That's great you're going sooner than you originally planned!!!:sunny:

I've been trying to get back to Disney since Sept. of 2001 and other things just kept "coming up".. Well - I have bought my airline tickets, got the room, the tickets for MVMCP are on their way, and I am going!!!!!!!!!!!

I will probably never be able to go once a year, but waiting 5 years or so would have KILLED me! At my age (54) I don't feel like I have a lot of time to "mess around".. I already have some health issues and I'm in that prime age group for breast cancer, ovarian cancer, etc., so if I want to do things I need/want to do NOW..

I will do ANYTHING I have to in order to finish paying for this trip (I'm already doing eBay) and if that means I have to go out and get a job scrubbing toilets , I WILL !! We're on a very low fixed income here so I can't touch ANY of that money (and there are complications of me working due to my DH's veteran's health benefits) but I am going on this trip one way or another!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can do it too! Just stay focused and do whatever it takes!

We're going to Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Major Disney addict here. I didn't get a Disney fix in 2003 and had major withdrawal problems. :teeth: Been once in 2004, but plan to go back for a short trip in November. Gotta love the Mouse!!

Thanks y'all. I was fortunate enough to have been able to go at least once a year for the last 3 years, even if just for a long weekend. But, we have had so many problems with money due to ailing parental units and pets that it's just not been possible to make it happen this year.

I'm glad that I'm not alone. It's just been a long time since 12/21/03. Maggie

I hear ya!! I became spoiled...DH and I were able to go to WDW every year since we honeymooned there in June 2000. Our last trip was March 2003. Due to financial reasons, school issues and our DS who's only 13 months old, we won't be back until December 2005 either! Look at my countdown...it's SO depressing! But at least when we go, we be celebrating some pretty special things. :)

You were going to wait until 2010 :earseek:???

Yeah, we have so many dreams and only so much money. I figure that the odds are against me ever retiring anyway, so I might as well play while I am here. :p Maggie

 I get that way sometimes too. I actually totally forgot until yesterday that we were going in 2005 (we have access to a very cheap timeshare and apparently we already told BF's mom we'd take it).

We're just going to get APs when we go in DEC. so all we need to pay for is the annual condo fee for the timeshare.

I doubt we'll be going in 2006. So after 10/2005 I have a long stretch ahead of me.
