In Feb, we stayed in a 1br at OKW then on Friday moved to the Sports (this was hard to do) because we wanted to spend just one more day at MK (Friday & Saturday MK had late night).

Don't forget to report when you get back.

Just wanted you to know you've got good timing. We've had terribly unseasonable weather for the last few weeks - REALLY hot. But we had some good rain this past weekend - and it has "cooled" down to highs in the mid 80's, along with lower humidity. It's actually pretty nice outside!

My family and I are not leaving until Saturday (6:25AM flight out of LGA, ugh!), and this trip is only for three nights! Our first trip "home" won't be until August.

Fortunately, DH and I have another mini-trip in July and I just reserved our October anniversary trip (the trip that started our DVC purchase/addiction!LOL) using the first half of our complimentary stay incentive.

We also just added on at VWL, after reviewing the papers for our HHI add-on and after reading everyone's glowing reviews of VWL. I told my guide, "This is the last one! I'm done. We're set." We'll see...

DoeWDW - We originally had the 6/5night stay at CSR and couldnt resist adding 4 more days at the only avaliable DVC resort 2 weeks ago ( I think the resort theme combo will be magical ) We would have reserved a studio but only 1 bdrm was avaliable, it will be fine for us - I love cooking anyway, hehe.

yesdisneyfool - Looking foward to our first vacation report on the DIS !

Beth - 80-85 degrees is my desired weather for all the fun in the sun water activities, so thats great news to my ears ! We decide on parks pretty much the night before and if it looks too hot - More Water !!!

mle - LGA, arg, We had to get our Dec trip there because we waited 3 days back in Feb to decide if we were doing Christmas Disney - That made our unreserved JFK flights double to $1300+, so we setteled for a $680 at LGA with a horrible 6:30am flight - I bet you have a Delta fight too. We live next door in Lynbrook - Did you lose any trees last week with the wind?

Gigashadow, yes it is a Delta flight, at 6:25AM out of LGA, the aircraft carrier, as my husband calls it. I'm very excited about the trip, though I am not looking forward to having to leave the house at 4-4:30 in the morning!

My next few trips will be with Southwest, out of Ronkonkoma. Have you ever flown with them or out of ISP? It will be out first time in July; I'll let you know how that works out. Fortunately for us, we have the option of three different airports (though nothing beats that <20 minute ride to JFK, off peak, of course!).

And no, I didn't lose any trees last week, but I sure thought my big ole maple tree out back was going to snap in half (or at least lose a few large branches) the way it was creaking with the wind! Did you lose any?

Anyway, again, have a safe and pleasurable journey to the Magic! Maybe we'll bump into each other at "home" or at home.

My trip starting with 97 was with US Air (LGA), then 2 TWA's (JFK), then God granted us Jet Blue (JFK). Flights were always chosen for the cheapest fares. My experience with Jet Blue was the best - new planes/tv's for kids/quick counter service and 99.9% all my flights were on time. I just wish they would open their window bigger then 6 months for advance bookings (Thus our Dec trip would have been another Jet Blue flight).

God help us if they make the Dec (Holiday) check-in time bigger then 2 hours (so far its leave house 4-4:30am like you) at the airport - thats a lot of "down time" for the kids before boarding the plane.

Trees - I just happened to remove all 6 trees in front of my house 3 days before the wind "storm" - this dry winter did in most of them and I figured it was time for new trees before the old ones went into my home or someones car (talk about coincidence)

this trips plans will be a little wacky between the trips to family/friends and how the weather turns out for parks - I saw a couple of get-togethers but I dont really want to commit to any this trip. But mabye the next question will help some of us run into each other "out of the blue".

Question: I have seen posts about "green ribbons" for "ID's" - Do the green ribbons represent all the DIS Forum members and If so Do us DVC'er have a colored ribbon for us to see who came "Home" ?
