What is this famous ... dole whip that everyone craves over?

It is a pineapple juice ice cream thing they sell in Adventureland in the MK. I know lots of people love them but I thought it was just OK. I like pineapple but if I am going to mix in something with my ice cream it is my preference that chocolate be involved!

If you like pineapple I think it is worth trying but I would not get upset if I missed it.

From one fellow Tarheel to another (love your sign-on name) trust me and try the Dole whip float. It's devine. It's pineapple ice cream in pineapple juice and believe it or not it's extremely refreshing!

I'm also a little perplexed about the dole whips -- but for a different reason. Up here we can get them at pretty much any soft-serve ice cream stand that's open for the summer. Are they not as common elsewhere? Or is it just the thrill of having it at WDW?

I've never seen them anywhere else but at WDW, so you must be lucky to have them in your area of the country.

We had to try one on our last trip because I had read so much about them here. Have to say it was a bit too tart for our taste, though.

you must do it as a float or it is just "ok" in my humble opinion...but as a float...wowza!!
