Call me Crazy, insane just plain nuts, but we have 17 days left and I cant wait!!!

I am worse then my 9 year old son!!!!!!!

All I do is talk about it at work, then when I come home, I read every website I can find ( this is my fav). Or read every guide book ( we have 5)!

Then I am constantly changing PS ressie's. Adding a new one almost every other day! Booking Illum cruise, thinking about Disney Quest (never been there).

A friend of mine just got back Sunday, and all I could do was ask him every question I could think of : Did you go on Mission Space, Did it rain? just on and on.

Another friend of mine going on Thursday and I am so Jealous, I wish it was me.

We have been to WDW a Zillion times and I still get so excited each time we go. Some family members just dont get "it" and say " Oh your going there again!!!"

What is wrong with Me?????

You're preaching to the choir!!!:p I belong to the same insane asylum that you do! So, I can't give you any explanation for our crazed behavior and deviant desire to love all things Disney.

I think I know how you feel. I'm 57 years old, and I'm more excited about our WDW trip than anything we've done in a long time. My wife of 10 years (my high school sweetheart- long story by itself) has never been to WDW except for a short trip with me in 1999. We only had time for Magic Kingdom on one quick afternoon before a business banquet. We won't arrive til 9-26 for 5 nights at WL, but I'm so excited about seeing her reaction to all the other things at Disney that I've almost become obsessed. WDW is about all I talk about these days. I've agonized over PS's, days for which parks, lurked the boards, etc. til she thinks that I'm crazy. But, I know she will love everything as much as I did in years past. You would think at my age that I would have learned to be patient, but I swear, I don't think 9-26 will every get here. I guess WDW has that effect on all ages.

:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Me too!

25 days to go and I'm driving my wife nuts! lol This will be her first trip there since '88 so I can't wait to share all the new goodies with her.

SLEEP is the most difficult part!

Kungaloosh!

Hi Jakesmom1 - It is just my DH and me (age 50 which makes it even worse) and I am as addicted as you are. I check out the boards daily (sometimes twice a day) to get the latest resort and restaurant info. I have changed our PS plans on my planning spreadsheet at least 20 times and I can even make PS for another several days. I will be getting up at 6:30 am on a weekend morning 90 days out to get CRT for dinner. At least you only have 17 days left. I have a 100+ and the bad thing is almost as soon as we return home from the mouse house, I will start all over again planning for the next trip. Have a GREAT trip and say hi to the Mouse for me!:) PS I think it is almost as much fun to plan as it is to go!

I am so giddy about my trip to WDW this Thursday, I can barely eat or sleep. At least I know I will eat well when I get to WDW!
Hope you have a great time!:teeth:

Hi Jakesmom and all anxious travellers... I can't wait either... I keep waking up at night, or early in the morning

No problem eating though  but it a nervous eating... like a whole pint of Ben and Jerrys  when I'm not even hungry.

3 days never felt so far away...

>>^..^<<

We could of went anywhere to celebrate our 19th anniversary. We've been to all of the above several times. But our favorite, all time, fun romantic place is WDW. And we leave in a mere 19 or less hours!!!!

Can't wait! Dolphin here we come. Alone for five whole nights! (We'll miss the kids 17, 13, but these trips are part of the reason I love him so much)

Believe me we cant wait either!!! It will be DH first time there and our DS's first time there!! And I havent been there since spring break when I was 21 !!!!! Which would have been 1993  So I am sure for me it will be like going for the first time all over again!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: Just cant wait WOO HOO

get a hold of yourselves...and make room for me....:Pinkbounc :bounce:

What...I can't be obsessive also? I think we (in the double digits) should start a support group. Once you get past triple digits, the trip is so close you could taste it. I do not feel bad for those of you with single digits at all. Those with triple digits, that is another story. Ok, posting to see the clock again...:p

OK - TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND A COLD SHOWER. If that doesn't work, smash your thumb with a hammer. All right, forget the hammer, but it would take your mind off it :) !

Know what you mean!! I went to Amazon and put every Disney book in my "shopping cart" and then thought "wait I'm not going until 2/04..I need to wait until the 04 updates" I know evrything in the books!! I just like to read them. My DH asks "are you learning anything new?" "No..I'm just reading" So I finally talked myself out of the crazy book purchase! (I might get 1or 2 later :) )

I'm one of those triple digit people but that has not slowed me down. I have several copies of my master packing list around and am always making updates (posted on the bathroom mirror!)

I come here 1-2x day to check the updates. This is our 1st trip w/ baby and I was so reluctant until I came to these boards. I was actually thinking "man, that kid's just going to slow me down!!" lol. After reading about all the great experiences with babies I can't wait to see the World through DS's eyes. woo hoo - a new convert!! My DH asked me "what if does not like Disney when he's older?" my response "he's out of the will!!" j/k!

Another evening of obsessing..I mean planning!! Have fun you single digit people!

I too am very excited

I even take my passporter to lunch break with me everyday.

Today I made PS arrangements while sitting at our local KFC cause I found some room in our itinary on one of our days. LOL

We have Disney books in about every room in the house, even the bathroom LOL

Call me a Disney Nut! We will be there from Oct. 17 - Nov. 1

We are driving this year so we are leaving on the 16th.

I WISH I COULD LEAVE NOW!!! LOL

I am the same way...my family, my coworkers, everyone thinks I am "silly"...If I hear one more time "why do you keep going back to the same place" from people who have NEVER been....ARGGGHHHH..they just don't understand.

My husband and I even sneak off for long weekends there. Southwest will have a good fare to ANYWHERE and we can't ever seem to pass up WDW. At least my husband and DD5 both have the same bug that I do!

Me and my passporter and my Birnbaum and my printed internet pages are inseperable and will stay that way until after the trip!

Have a great time!

You think you are "nuts" ??
We leave in exactly 25 Hours and 52 minutes. (our countdown clock says friday, but we are leaving a day early.)

My last day at work was yesterday. DW last day is today. I barely slept last night. I am sure tonight is going to be worse. Its like that commercial Disney ran about the two parents waiting and lying in bed for the morning to come. THEY COULD NOT SLEEP.

I have already started to countdown our Thanksgiving Trip.
its +/- 103 days from today. AND we haven't even started our "summer" vacation yet.

My friends, who have never been to WDW, ask..."what do you do there, is all you do is go to the parks."?

THEY JUST DON'T GET IT !!!!!!!!!!!

I've been obsessing since we came across the FTP. I've only purchased one book, but I've taken every book out of the library. We won't even go into all the trip planning videos I've collected over the years. DH has never been, and I've only made it once every ten years or so, so this is all new and exciting.

It's just me and DH, but we're both kids at heart. I've done all the planning, PS, Cirque tickets, etc. He just wanted to play a few rounds of golf. He sat down with me on Sunday night, to see the latest trip planning DVD, and was surprised to learn that there were rides in all the parks, then was amazed to discover there were 4 parks! (He's a little behind things, but he's in for a real treat.)

We've done a cruise, Cancun, and Jamacia, but I'm really more excited about WDW!

I am as nuts as all of you!! We are going in October, and my husband and daughter planned a trip that was a surprise for me to go to MVMCP in December!! We get so much flack from everyone ( poor souls- not to feel all that MAGIC) we are keeping our December trip secret!!

Happy planning/dreaming/replanning everyone!!!
