I can't move while playing Mansion! Any ideas?

Today I have attempted to play the Haunted Mansion game three times. Every time I start, I am able to move a couple of steps, and then I can't move anymore! I have tried switching from mouse to keys and clicking in different places on the screen. So far nothing has worked. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else on the board and if so, is there anything you can do about it?

This is especially upsetting because Mansion is my favorite game. I guess it is off to Fireworks to earn credits.
