I just can't figure out what to do on our arrival day at WDW in late September. We both arrive on 09/26/08, which is a Friday. We decided that we would not go to a park, but I am so perplexed as to what to do. For this trip, we decided to not go to AK. I love the park, but this is such a short trip and we have a major focus on Epcot's Food & Wine Festival, so something had to go given how short our tip is. Corey will be coming to WDW from VA where she will have been away on business for the previous week. I will be flying in early that day from the airport in Atlanta and we both will be using Disney's Magical Express. So far, we do not have her flight into Orlando booked and it might not be booked until just 2 weeks before we travel, since her employer will be paying for the flight "home".
So, I have no idea what time that she may be arriving at CSR.
Things I have considered in no particular order of preferrence......
1.) Book services at La Vida Massage & Fitness Center for Corey & me.
Follow that with a swim at the pool and dinner at Maya Grill and some time at Rix Lounge afterwards. Basically, this would give Corey some time to ease into vacation and leave the work week behind.
2.) Book the Afternoon Tea at the GF and then book services at the GF Spa for both of us. Go back to CSR and take a swim in the pool and later hit Maya Grill for dinner and Rix Lounge afterwards. Corey loves the Afternoon Tea at the GF, but in going there, we would need to take the bus and buses are never relaxing.
3.) Go to Disney Quest, which we have never tried. Eat dinner at Raglan Road and then go over to PI to play and get our drink on. This is obviously not the total ease your way into vacation idea, but she really does want to try DQ at some point and we both love Raglan Road and the Adventurer's Club and Comedy Warehouse.
4.) Go to Typhoon Lagoon and spend lots of time on the lazy river. When done, head over to CSR for dinner at Maya Grill and some time at Rix Lounge afterwards. We have both wanted to go to TL for awhile now. We enjoyed BB's lazy river quite a bit last year. Corey and I both would like to see the shark reef.
5.) Go to a park, probably Epcot, God help me, and enjoy the F&W Festival with half the rest of Orlando on opening day of the festival. Epcot closes at midnight, so even if we arrive late at the park EMH will make it a pretty productive day. Corey HATES crowds, so I know this is not the best approach, but it's another option.
So what do you think? I just can't freakin' decide and Corey is just not a planner and says "just plan it and I am sure that we will have fun" but I did that last year and did not take into account that by day 4 out of the house, she turns into Grumpzilla. Please vote to help me to decide. Thanks!

None of them are bringing any kids or spouses, just 4 old friends having a good time in the mountains.
I appreciate your help. I have given up on deciding this all on my own.
