If this is suppose to be value season and not to crowded from what I have read why are all the good restaurants booked up ? I have been trying for a month to get a couple of our reservation for our favorite places but no luck. Coral Reef,Sci Fiction Diner, and Garden Grill, there is nothing available when we are going. Why are they all booked up ?:confused3

I'm having trouble for that week too...between free dining, pop warner and who knows what else, we're stuck. Hopefully some character meals will open up before 9pm. I booked at 180 days out too

Garden Grill and Coral Reef are also Candelight Processional Dinner Pkg. restraunts.

All I can say is that to keep the faith. People keep dropping out of their ADR's every day. The problem is all about timing. You gotta be quick on the draw. Because, like you, I'm hoping to fall into a character breakfast.

Best of luck to you (but not more than me) :lmao:

I agree with all PP. I'm working on the same week and have been for quite some time. Through being deligent (and spending a lot of time) I have added Coral Reef, Narcoose's and Ohana among others during that period. You'll need to be flexible on your preferred times. I'm not sure how many are in your party but you can sometimes split the party and find two reservations at or around the same time.

I will be there the same week and we booked our trip at about 90 days out. I can say that I have had great luck getting the places we want to eat, however we are not doing any character dining so maybe those are more limited. Of the few places we really wanted to eat at I have had to stalk the Disney website on a daily basis just to get those ressie's but patience has been my friend. Good luck! Things do seem to be opening up daily :)

We will be there Dec 10-18 and made our ressies 180 day mark and didnt have any problems getting what we wanted.

I think they might start to open up now that we are coming up on the 45 day make. Alot of people are realizing they wont be able to make it so they are cancelling their trips. I all of a suddan have come across some harder to get ADRs in the last 2 days. Im starting to think with the online system people are making many extra adrs. Now its very easy to get away with it. I think before when you had to call in to the ressie line people would shy away from double booking.

I booked all ADRS for that week about a month ago,(or even less)we had no issues at all, just a one shot deal:confused3:confused3
the only one we couldn't get that we wanted was Crystal Palace at MK...and we didn't care all that much, just booked elsewhere-
maybe b/c we were pretty flexible about choices and times?
honestly had no problem at all......

Just check often. I am on the WDW sight ALL the time. Alot seems to open up out of the blue. The 15th seemed to have more than the others the past few weeks. I got almost all of my ADRs from other people cancelling.Love that pixie dust!!!!!!:wizard:

I'm a frequent WDW reservation stalker and have been lucky. Yes they do open up occasionally and you have to be quick to snatch them. I was able to get Coral Reef, Chef Mickey's (cxld due to bad reviews), and lunch at Le Cellier!
Now they're having the website down for somekind of upgrade, hopefully they're cleaning up some possible duplicate ressies too so more availability will show up.
We'll be there from Dec 8-15th and found that from the 12th on ressies are definitely limited.

Ok I will keep stalking :surfweb: LOL. I hope since it is close to the 45 days before that week they will cancel some ressie :santa:

I was going to upgrade from QSD to DP but since I cant seem to get any reservation, I guess I will stick with QS. I did manage to get a reservation for Sc Fi diner but that is it. I have done give up LOL

It's been noted previously that there are no really slow times at WDW anymore. The legions of promotions on room rates, not to mention WDW's cultivation of business from large groups (Pop Warner for example) have done their work. As of next year there will no longer be a value season on resorts in December, too - it will now be considered Fall season.

I booked my December dining ressies back in June, maybe that's why you're having a problem! Seriously, there are many folks who plan 6-12 months in advance, putting all non-planners at a disadvantage. But you can keep trying.

I think Pop Warner is just about over at that time (almost, anyways)--I am going 12/11-12/19 and this was decided last minute (had to change from our original November time)--with lots of work and a little bit of luck, I managed to get everything we wanted (I started booking about 3 weeks ago). Be flexible on times and days and then go from there. For example, I got Coral Reef, but for lunch not dinner. My 'Ohana reservation is later--stuff like that.

Good luck!

We will be there at the same time, minus one day! We are going Dec 10-17 and also made our ADRs 180 out. I have made some changes since then but still got everything I wanted. I wanted Via Napoli for our first night and had to check everyday for weeks but I finally got it.
