I can't find my checkbook!

And dh is not happy with me!

I last saw it yesterday morning when I was sitting on the couch doing bills. I have looked thouroughly in and around the couch and both cars. We've been to Target and the movies since then, and I called both to see if they had one turned it. The bank said they can freeze our account and start a new one for us, but we just opened this a few weeks ago. It's making me CRAZY...

Are you sure you took it out of the house? I used to carry mine everywhere but I stopped when I misplaced it once. I never use it outside of the house, I use my Delta Sky Miles card so it was pointless to take it.

What did you do with all the remnants after paying the bills? Did your checkbook get swept away with the trash? Keep looking, I'm sure you misplaced in the house somewhere.

It's still in your couch. It's pushed WAY down where the cushions are very tightly joined.

Maybe...because that's where our remote ALWAYS is when we think we have absolutely lost it forever.

Go stick your hand all the way down as far as it will go in any place your sofa has a "slot."

I FOUND IT!


After going through the trash and everyplace else (so I thought), I decided to go get my bank statement out of the filing cabinet to start a new register. And there it was in all it's blue vinyl glory! Wrapped up in the bank statement! Who would've guessed? I am never taking it out of the house again. I'll just start keeping a few checks with me for emergencies. Thanks!
