I cant figure out FP+ for our family

Can't figure out the easiest way to set them up for our family! Here is the prob. We have 3 sons with varying likes DS11 likes same as DH and I (every ride!). DS8 likes no roller coasters (not even BTM) but will ride dinoland rides and star tour type rides. And ds3 (turns 3 day OF arrival) only has preschool type rides to ride. So how do we set them up when no kids will/can ride med and big rides? Help me. I have been struggling on itinerary for two months and have made so many ghost FP+ trying to fig out best way to set up FP!

I would decide and conquer. Figure out which rides your kids would share, and plan one with all ( such as POTC) then split up for one with two boys, and one with the other ( such as two for Star Tours nod one with Dumbo - that would be DLR so sorry if MK) and the third switch the combo so the one can ride a roller coaster and the other two with something like The car ride.

Personally I think it is important that each child gets to ride something they really want. And it can be real special for the kids to have one on one time for a ride as well. But it is also important to do things together as well. There are lots of options they may all enjoy (Buzz, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor) and remember that there are some good play areas to allow kids to play while others are riding. The Child Swaps work well here so both parents get to ride as well.

Rider swap! You dont all have to have the same FP+. For example:

DH and DS FP+ BTMRR and you and two other kids FP+ Peter Pan. Show up at BTMRR first as whiole group and get rider swap (small child must be with you). DH and DS ride, you go to pan and then later you and DS can use rider swap to ride BTMRR anytime you like. This way you aren't sitting out all the big rides. As PP said, plan one FP+ so you are all together for a ride.
