I can't believe my camera I bought in July is broken!

GRRRRRR! I don't know what is wrong. Thought it was the battery bought a new one...The flash won't work and when I try to use the flash the camera shuts off!
Luckily I have the extend warrenty but they said it could take up to 6 weeks for repairs! I have Halloween, DD birthday, Thanksgiving and who knows what else! I take a ton of pictures this time of year!
They gave me a loaner but it isn't the same or have a nice zoom. Mine was a 160! This one is a 105! Looks like I will be dragging out my out faithful, SLR! 22 years old and still working!

Spinning, Soooo sorry to hear about your camera. I can't imaging not have my old faithful along side of me at this time of year. I think I take more pictures in Oct, Nov and Dec. then all the rest of the year combines. (except for vacations). Let's hope they get the problem taken care of in short order so that you don't miss any of those wonderful shots.
