I can't believe I'm going back!

My husband just totally surprised me by booking a 5day/4night stay at SOG in November - just the two of us! We took the kids for the third time in April of this year. He said he wants the two of us to go and enjoy some of the grown up stuff we couldn't do - and to enjoy the food and wine festival! I'm so darn excited I can't even describe it!

We're doing the same thing in September! I've never ridden TOT or RNR with hubby! We are driving the kids crazy counting the days until our trip. If it isn't bad enough that we aren't taking the kids (don't feel sorry for them they have been 4 times) we have to torture them!

What a wonderful husband! DH and I took our romantic getaway back in 2002 and LOVED IT. Hope it gives the 2 of you a much needed break and that the sparks fly!

I went last November with my two older kids. Wife stayed home with baby. I can't believe I got her to allow us all to go in 4 weeks. And for 7 nights no less. She likes Disney, but doesn't get obsessed like myself and our daughters. Whats even better is that the kids don't know. They think we are going to my in-laws in S.Florida. They also don't think we are going back until November 2006!

Wow,that's great. You will have a great time. My DH just did the same thing for me. I t was my B-Day last week so he took me over night and we stayed at SOG. I love Ecpot and never get a chance to enjoy it will the kids so we spent all day walking around and then stayed for the fireworks. It was so much fun. I think it is a different experience to without children. Have fun you will enjoy it. Lucky you 5 days I wish we could have stayed longer.

I can't believe I am going too!! We were there the ending of June and just got back again about a week ago and we're going again next week! I suprised myself!!

Thanks for all the wonderful responses! He is a super terrific husband and father. I'm still in shock that he pulled this off, though. I've noticed that with each trip to WDW he wants to return sooner, too. Good thing, because I plan on spending lots of time there when our kids are all out on their own! LOL!
