I proceeded to ask if I could make a reservation for Obama.

Without missing a beat, my reservation clerk said: "One moment please, while I transfer you to the White House."

I'm guessing I'm not the first one to do that.

Well, I don't see why we can't. I mean, after all, it is OUR property, no? For that matter, why do we even have to make reservations? Why can't we just drop by for dinner when we're in the area?
