I can't BELIEVE I DID IT

For the FIRST time in my camera owning life I accidently wiped out my WHOLE memory card!!!!!!!
Has anyone besides me ever done this and if so what program do you use to get them back?
I made sure to HIDE the erased memory card so I wouldn't start taking pictures with it. The worse thing is that these pictures are of my neice at Crystal Palace in the little parade they do.

If you just reformatted the card then the pictures are probably still there. Use a image recovery program and see what you get. All may not be lost.

For what it is worth, I have a very specific process I go through when using cards to do try to do as much as I can to keep from doing what you did. I carry a card pouch and put them in a specific way and take them out a specific way.

Yep, everyone has done it. Well except me. And by that I just mean it has not been my turn yet, hehehehehee.

Many many folks have recovered lost pics, but I can never remember the program names. THere are even a few great ones that are free. Just give them a while to find this thread.

I have three cards for my camera. I do not delete them untill I need them again. Recently I just deleted WDW photos that were still on the card from last december.

That is great!
I was going to suggest PC Inspector smart recovery i once screwed up and took the card out of the card reader without stopping it and lost the photos that where on it. PC Inspector smart recovery found almost a full gig of photos from a gig card, most of which I had.
