I went into Costco yesturday and they were already starting to sell christmas items. Has anyone else noticed this? Not trying to drag anyone one down from christmas, it is just a little soon for me. How about You?

I totally agree with you. I absolutely love Christmas BUT I don't want to start thinking about it in August. Sheesh it is not even Labor day yet.

I was at Sam's Club with my kids this afternoon and my youngest was shocked to see Halloween items. Three aisles later, I pointed out the Christmas trees, fiber optic holiday lights and the tins of butter cookies with the holiday scene on the tin. There ya go kiddo, you want rushing the season, that's REALLY rushing the season.

It's early but Costco does sell to other retailers who may be getting it early so they have it in their own stores on time. When we had our computer store Costco was cheaper than our suppliers for quite a few items.

BigLots has had out Christmas stuff since the beginning of the month. They had fall stuff out in June... pushing the seasons much?

We went to Costco today and saw Christmas stuff also. Geez, it's not even September yet. DH and I couldn't believe it.

Go to Hobby Lobby!! They've had all their Christmas stuff out since the end of July!

OMG I have to go see. I've been playing Christmas music since a couple of weeks ago. I made a Pandora christmas music station and it's on day and night. Well that's an exageration but you kwim. I love fall and winter coming!

I got the Sears Xmas wish book on Friday. I was SHOCKED. We are having almost 90 temps, and I want to just take one day at a time. NOT think about XMAS, although I love that catalog.

Hey, now, I already bought several Hallmark Christmas ornaments! And, with a name like usnuzuloose, you'd realize the pain I felt when they'd already sold out of the Chip-n-Dale ornaments I wanted PRIOR to the Season Premier!! Oh well, I agree, it is early. However, I have to admit, when I see the ornaments come out in late Summer, I do get a little bit excited.
