I Cannot wait for T-Rex to open!

Hi all!
I'm just wondering if they have even "broken ground" as of yet? I am a dinosaur fan myself and was so excited when I heard of the new T-Rex cafe.

I was just thinking about that yesterday! I haven't heard anything since the inital announcement. Does anybody know anything about it?

I've been to the one in KC. Do you want info on what it's going to be like or just about how the construction is going at Disney?

Believe me, I've already been to their website and watched a few videos of the place on Youtube!
I was just wondering how construction was going in DTD.
I would love to hear your review of it though!

Construction walls went up in the T-Rex location at DTD a couple of days ago. So it looks like construction is finally beginning.

My kids DS8 & DD6 loved T-Rex. I thought it was fun and it had some really amazing animatronics. Like the Rainforest Cafe it has a "Meteor Shower" where the Dino's really come to life. You don't go there for the food - If you've eaten at the Rainforest Cafe, you've pretty much eaten the food. The KC one has a Boneyard (it costs extra) that the kids can go and explore. They can "dig" dinosaur bones and explore a gem exhibit. If you want to "mine" for gems or fossils - it costs extra. There is also a build-a-dino store and my kids loved building a Dino. When the KC one first open the lines to get in were bad - hours long waits. It has died down somewhat, but can still get busy on the weekends. I can't imagine what the waits will be at Disney. They also did not honor my priority seating (I didn't think it was going to happen) for having a Rainforest Cafe membership, but did honor the discounts.
