I have booked
3 nights at CBR standard room
I added the dining plan and used a passholder discount.
Grand total 735.00 for 3 nights
I also have booked
Liki Tiki resort 2 bedroom 2 bath condo w/ full kitchen
same 3 nights obviously no dining plan
Grand total 250.00 for 3 nights plus food at about 200.00
My feelings on CBR-
I love staying on site and hate the idea of driving 20 minutes to and from the parks. I also love to eat at disney and the dining plan saves us about 100 for the stay if we were to pay out of pocket for the same meals, which we would never do if not on the dining plan. We always say we will eat t.s meals but end up at a counter not wanting to leave the park or spend 100+ on a single meal. having it booked this way I've paid for it it's done and we're eating t.s meals.
My feelings on Liki Tiki
I have never stayed here but the room sounds to die for. Master bedroom with a spa tub! Kids in their own room and a full kitchen. I don't like the idea of cooking on vacation but I know it would save a lot of money to make a hot breakfast in the morning and have dinner done in a crockpot every night when we got back. I don't think we would go back to rest during the day being 20+ minutes away. The pool closes at 6pm so we would never use it. They have mini golf and other things but all close early for some reason so we would not use those either.
What would you all do? choose cheaper privacy or expensive convenience?
